Introducing OverIT Geocall

From OverIT, a company of the Engineering Group, Geocall is a fully configurable technology product designed to help appointment-centric, asset-intensive industrial organizations coordinate and optimize their end-to-end Field Service Management processes, activities and resources. It is the first solution of its kind offering hands-free vocal work order debriefing and remote workforce collaboration capabilities. Geocall also provides capabilities which enable organizations to quickly and efficiently set up, schedule, dispatch and monitor Field Service and maintenance jobs. Optional integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Augmented Reality (AR) features drive the continuous optimization and improvement of Field Service processes and workforce performance. Geocall is able to inform and enable technicians to access tasks and related resources in the field via advanced mobile and wearable devices. 1. Core Module for Field Service Management

Geocall is an all-inclusive technology solution and an ideal product for companies aiming to optimize how they manage all their Field Service activities, including maintenance, technical assistance and emergency services, carried out by either internal or external resources. The core module enables you to define and configure the basic parameters of Geocall, including resources, assets and services. It also allows for the import of work orders from external systems, the creation of work orders, the assignment of activities to the right resources and/or teams, and complete control and monitoring of all Field Service activities. Authorized users can make changes to the operating parameters of Geocall at any time, thus allowing for a high-level of customization to fit the needs of each organization.

2. Maintenance Order Scheduling & Optimization

Geocall’s powerful scheduling engine, relying on sophisticated algorithms, enables you to easily manage the planning and scheduling of all plant maintenance activities, its purpose being the optimization of processes and resources operating in the field or factory. The module also offers a range of simulation features, useful for developing models and finding the most suitable configuration for the needs of each company and its assets. Geocall also supports the booking process as well as the import and automated organization of work orders from multiple systems and channels.

3. Mobile Application for Remote Workforce Support

The mobile component of Geocall supports operators and maintenance technicians working in the field, both on equipment and for appointment-centric cases. Through a mobile device, maintenance technicians receive work orders to be carried out, along with useful information for the execution of activities. Technicians can manage their tasks, confirm the acceptance of an assignment, document and track the details of their work and access a plethora of multimedia resources. Offline capabilities, a visual map feature and step-by-step resolution procedures ensure a high level of productivity and quality in the field.

4. Emergency Maintenance Service Dispatching

Geocall’s emergency module enables the management of urgent service and maintenance requests. Each warning is sorted according to predefined criteria of security, efficiency and availability of resources, in order to ensure that critical requests are executed by qualified technicians and as quickly as possible. The application can work with the presence of a dedicated control center or in fully automatic mode.

5. End-to-End Plant Maintenance Management

Geocall provides unique features developed to support efficiency in the execution of maintenance activities in manufacturing plants. The module enables you to automate and manage the typical maintenance operations within a factory, including assignment of planned maintenance, unplanned maintenance and emergency interventions for unexpected machine downtimes. Geocall offers features enabling the management of plant security requirements and protocols, contractor management, even the provision of 3D asset visualization and real-time technician support using Augmented Reality (AR).

6. Maintenance Workforce Management

Geocall provides a number of modules aimed at facilitating the management of an organization’s maintenance resources and teams, as well as the monitoring of their performance in the factory when executing their tasks. The Contractor Management tool enables interaction with and scheduling of activities assigned to external contractors, as well as the management of contractor agreements and accounting needs. The Crew Management tool automates the composition of temporary, nominal and/or dynamic maintenance teams based on scheduling and priority-based needs. The Performance Management tool provides authorized users with access to customizable performance monitors, reports and dashboards.
