AnyLogic Simulation Software

AnyLogic Simulation Software is a general-purpose simulation platform designed for industrial and business applications. It enables analysts, engineers and managers to gain deeper insight into complex systems by modeling real-world processes, interactions and constraints across logistics, manufacturing, transportation, aerospace, defense, mining and other industries.

Developed by The AnyLogic Company, a multinational software provider operating in the U.S. and Europe, AnyLogic supports multi-method simulation within a single environment. Users can combine discrete event, agent-based and system dynamics modeling to represent systems at different levels of abstraction and analyze how operational details and strategic decisions influence overall performance.

Multi-Method Simulation Modeling

AnyLogic was the first simulation tool to introduce multi-method modeling and remains the only general-purpose platform that supports all three modern simulation methodologies in one software. Discrete event simulation is used to model process-driven systems such as manufacturing, logistics and healthcare. Agent-based simulation focuses on the behavior and interactions of individual entities such as people, vehicles, equipment or organizations. System dynamics provides a highly abstract view of complex systems and is commonly used for long-term and strategic analysis. These methods can be used independently or in combination to model systems of any complexity.

Industry-Specific Process Modeling Libraries

AnyLogic includes a suite of industry-specific process modeling libraries at no additional cost. These libraries allow users to model real-world systems using processes, entities and resources while visualizing flows, queues, delays and utilization. Libraries are available for generic business processes, material handling, fluid and bulk transfer, rail transportation, pedestrian movement and road traffic. The Pedestrian, Rail and Road Traffic Libraries provide detailed physical-level simulation of object movement and interaction, enabling a level of realism not supported by other general-purpose simulation tools.

Visualization, Experimentation and Deployment

AnyLogic enables teams to explore and communicate simulation results through interactive 2D and 3D visualizations that make complex system behavior easy to understand. Built-in experimentation tools, including Monte Carlo analysis, sensitivity analysis and parameter variation, support structured testing of scenarios and assumptions. For scalable enterprise use, AnyLogic Private Cloud allows organizations to securely run, manage and share models within their own infrastructure or via a Platform-as-a-Service environment, enabling collaboration, controlled data governance and organization-wide access to simulation insights.
