About the Project
Leveraging Siemens' leading MOM offering for process manufacturing, our team of experts recently completed a full Manufacturing Execution System (MES) pilot connecting Batch Management, Historian, SPC, LIMS and ERP. The pilot is a fully functional MES system that automates and handles order management, recipe management, genealogy, quality control, electronic work instructions, batch integration, ERP integration and much more.
About the Solution
The complete Manufacturing Execution System delivered allows operator and management to see the real-time view of all plant systems, manage orders and report on collected process information. Statistical Process Control (SPC) was implemented to monitor and control the product quality. Historian Server was implemented to collect process data which can easily be trended using the Historian Data Display. Genealogy information is collected for all material lots with analysis tools available to see forwards and backwards genealogy.
