Engineering Acquires Hyla Soft Inc. (North America) and Infinity Technology Solutions from sedApta Group.
sedApta, for its part, finalizes the acquisition of Osys from Bodet Group.
Engineering Ingegneria Informatica S.p.A., the leader in Digital Transformation, has completed the acquisition of two companies that were previously part of sedApta Group:
- Infinity Technology Solutions S.p.A., based in Genoa, Italy, and a key player in the new-generation industrial automation market, with more than 100 professionals working in the industry, boasting an established presence and expertise in Industrial Automation, MOM (Manufacturing Operations Management) systems and Information Technology.
- Hyla Soft Inc. (North America), the U.S. subsidiary of Hyla Soft, headquartered in Chicago, employing more than 60 skilled professionals in the Manufacturing IT industry, specialized in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), MOM (Manufacturing Operations Management) and S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) technology solutions.
The two acquisitions, although so different in terms of geographic location, share the common goal of increasing the capabilities of Engineering to deliver IT projects across all sectors of the manufacturing industry, both in Italy and in North America.
In addition, this transaction further helps strengthen the cooperation between Engineering and sedApta by augmenting Engineering’s workforce with an additional team of high-profile specialists trained on the sedApta product offering and experienced in guiding customers through the entire Digital Transformation process as part of the Industry 4.0 strategy.
At the same time, sedApta will now have the opportunity to focus more on the development and marketing of innovative S&OP products and Industry 4.0 solutions, an area in which the company already plays an emerging role at the European level. With this aim in mind, sedApta has finalized the acquisition of the French company Osys. A part of Bodet Group, Osys has been developing MES software and terminals for the manufacturing industry since 1981, and today it has become one of the most important companies in the French MES market.
