About MxD (DMDII)
MxD, formerly known as the Digital Manufacturing and Design Innovation Institute (DMDII), is a federally-funded research and development organization of UI LABS that encourages factories across America to deploy digital manufacturing and design technologies so those factories can become more efficient and cost-competitive. Engineering is a partner and sponsor of the institute. Our team works closely with DMDII to support digital manufacturing initiatives.
