Headquartered in Washington, D.C., the Healthcare Distribution Alliance (HDA) is an organization representing major pharmaceutical distributors in the United States. The HDA serves as a vital link between pharmaceutical manufacturers and the nation's pharmacies, hospitals, long-term care facilities and clinics. Since 1876, the HDA has helped members navigate regulations and innovations to ensure an efficient and reliable supply of medicines and health care products. As an extension of our partnership, HDA has implemented the Verification Router Service (VRS) Provider Network. This new service offering provides an opportunity for pharmaceutical supply chain thought leaders to network with peers and regulatory officials, participate in meetings and exchange information that advances ongoing interoperability for DSCSA compliance.
