About the Webinars

Join us for a two-part webinar series presented in collaboration with Siemens, featuring expert speakers from Engineering Industries eXcellence and Siemens. This series will explore the most advanced tools and techniques driving the future of battery design, safety and development. Through the combined insights of industry leaders, attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of how multiphysics analysis and Digital Twin technology are transforming the battery landscape, helping engineers tackle challenges such as thermal management, energy density, sustainability and fast charging requirements.

Session 1: Multiphysics Approach to Battery Thermal Management

Date: November 21, 2024

Overview: As battery integrators push for more powerful batteries in demanding applications, ensuring safety and peak performance becomes a top priority. In this webinar, we will explore how multiphysics analysis accelerates battery performance modeling by accounting for simultaneous factors like heat, stress, and flow. Attendees will learn how this advanced approach not only models normal battery behavior but also accurately simulates runaway scenarios, offering a faster, more precise alternative to traditional methods. By the end of the session, you'll gain insight into how multiphysics analysis can streamline development phases, driving innovation without compromising safety.

Session 2: Battery Design and Development Using Digital Twin Technology

Date: December 5, 2024

Overview: The battery industry is evolving rapidly, with new challenges such as sustainability, energy density, and fast charging emerging as critical priorities. This webinar will showcase how a digital twin can address these challenges by connecting processes from materials development to cell material definition and design validation. By leveraging a combination of systems modeling technology, computational chemistry, and physics-based electrochemical modeling, you'll discover how the digital twin accelerates battery development and validation. Participants will leave with a clear understanding of how to implement this solution to scale battery designs efficiently and meet industry demands.
