About the Hannover Messe

With more than 225,000 visitors in 2019, the Hannover Messe is the world's leading trade show for Industry 4.0. More than ten years ago, the term "Industry 4.0" celebrated its premiere at Hannover Messe, and its legacy continues to this day.

Industry 4.0 is an umbrella term that connects sensor manufacturers, automation companies, robotics builders, software producers and technology users with each other. The term has given rise to a new enthusiasm for automation and for the digitalization of industrial processes. Even the way we talk about Industry 4.0 has evolved. But where does it go from here?
